For Nicogermain, the goal of artistic creation should always be to advance mentalities, to shift the lines and to raise awareness. Starting from an idea conceptualized, studied and then drafted, the artist offers his informative and ironic vision of a hidden reality that he simply intends to echo in the heart of the city. And even if only one passer-by would be touched, he said, then the goal would be reached, the message passed.
His passion, his responsibility, his commitment are there, whole, his anger also in front of injustice, lies and inequalities. Using the primary function of the sign which aims to transmit and communicate and diverting it from its mercantile vocation to make it, in the middle of the decor, a landmark, a prelude to saying, to telling oneself, to telling us. A voice.
