Biography
Philippe Charlot held his first camera at the age of 7. A student in history then in journalism, he became a writer and sold his first photographs. At 38, he met Joann Sfar with whom he collaborated (ed. Dargaud). A revelation.
In 2010, Philippe left journalism for photography (advertising). In 2013, after a year in Quebec, he opened his own studio in Oberkampf. 2017, the commercial activity is healthy, he can devote time to his personal project; Interior's Memories. An essay on the intimate memory attached to places. Arles is the 6 th exhibition in this series.
