Biography

Maurice Rapin (1927-2000) is a surrealist painter. He shares an epistolary relationship with Magritte and is friend with André Breton at the beginning of his artistic career.Founder of the Surrealistic Group of Place Blanche and the Popular Surrealistic Mouvement in Paris. And Figuration Critique Salon in 1983 with Mirabelle Dors. Solo Shows : 1983 FIAC Foire internationale d'art contemporain, 1992 Musée des Beaux-arts de Mons.
