Quim Corominas

Born in 1951 in Spain, Quim Corominas is a self-taught Catalan artist who mixes techniques: collage, engraving and painting. He is also an avid collector of pop-ups.

He mixes his compositions and has been combining visual creation and art education for several years. His creative work is wide-ranging and includes paintings, posters, graphic works and art books. The artist has exhibited in many European capitals such as London, Berlin and Amsterdam as well as in many cities in France and Italy. He lives and works in Girona, Catalonia.

His work is inspired by European expressionism and action painting. He quickly acquired his own artistic language and uses a wide range of pure colours where blue and red impose themselves in a constant tension.
