Biography
Establishing himself internationally as a leading wildlife artist, Jonathan is known the world over for his wildlife paintings hanging in collections from Beverley Hills to Botswana from New York to New Zealand. For 15 years prior to his painting career, he was a professional musician, actor & cabaret impersonator, he is now a full time fine artist. In 2011, he was commissioned to write and illustrate a new book “How to Paint & Draw Wildlife" by Anness publishing.
Jonathan has annually led art safaris to various destinations including Madagascar, Galapagos, Zambia & India. He annually visits the Masai Mara in Kenya where he runs art classes at the famous Govenors Camp with BBC Big Cat Diary's Jonathan Scott. He is featured artist aboard P&O & Cunard Cruises 2013.
Supporting the conservation of many endangered species has raised many thousands of pounds for wildlife. He has featured in national and international magazines. Winner of the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year 2010 & 2013 Frozen Planet category and finalist of the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year for the last 6 years. A member of the Canadian organization 'Artists for Conservation'. His paintings are sold by galleries worldwide and have sold through Christies and Sotheby's both in the UK & United States.
