Barbara Cevasco

Argentina

Biography

Argentinian Barbara Cevasco has been painting since the early 2000s. But it was while walking the streets of Paris alone that the artist felt an irresistible attraction for the sculptures encountered in every corner of the French capital.

Strongly inspired by the surrealism of Salvador Dali, by the female figure of Gustav Klimt or the strength of Frida Khalo, the painter from Madrid now discovers in the Fine Arts the possibility of transposing an emotion into a work in three dimensions. His passion for sculpture was born.

She was selected in 2015 to participate in the jury of the prestigious Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize in London.
