Biography
Isabela Seifarth is a visual artist that works mainly creating narratives transmitted through painting. Her research permeates the universe of traditions of Bahia and Recôncavo Baiano, including its material and immaterial heritage, bringing together elements of popular culture and its places.
She participated in group exhibitions at the Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, Museu Afrobrasileiro UFBA, Casa do Benin and Solar Ferrão. Selected projects include the video “Feira Livre", awarded at the SSA Mapping in 2018, a participation in the residency Fluxos: acervos do Atlântico Sul , proposed by Intervalo - fórum de arte in 2019 and the commissioned mural “ Salvem as Matas, Salve à Cabocla!", for Projeto Mural 2021.
