Biography
Claude Caillol is a French painter born in 1955 in Aubagne. He studied plastic arts in the South of France, in Marseilles and in Nimes. From 1988 to 2001, he worked with Judith Bartolani, with whom he produced pieces portraying plastic objects.
Working alone today, Claude Caillol extends his work on plastic. He paints on plastic bags since 2004, a support that allows him to create effects of color and material. His artistic work has always been accompanied by a very broad approach, and includes the creation of shows, movies and performances.
Claude Caillol exhibits his work in France as well as abroad, in Luxembourg and Switzerland, in galleries and museums, such as at the Vieille-Charité in Marseille.
