Biography
Barbara Soïa was born in 1955.
She grew up in an artistic environment, her mother being a painter and sculptor.
No school except that of life.
First and foremost, she has chosen sculpture for more than twenty years: earth being her favorite material.
His sculptures are translated and exhibited in bronze and patinated plaster.
Since then: a long journey of various exhibitions.
"What I'm looking for in my job ...:
I would like the earth by shaping it to end up emitting more silence than matter, that my sculptures are images opening windows on the invisible.
The desire to thank gives me the impetus.
In the heart of uncertainty rediscover the first tenderness.
