Biography
Son of a artist-upholsterer-draftsman (whose works were sold at the Bon Marché), he graduated from the Ecole Boulle, trained in jewelry engraving. He took several course at the Decorative Arts School in Paris with the painter Gromaire. A libertarian and an anarchist, in the '60s he was part of the Panique group, with Fernando Arrabal, Alexandro Jodorowsky, Olivier O. Olivier, Roland Topor, Michel Parré. He published in the magazine Le Fou Parle (The Fool Speaks) (1977-1984), as well as in Hara-Kiri .
For three years, Christian Zeimert presented an artistic show on Radio Libertaire, with Jacques Vallet (writer and creator of the magazine Le Fou Parle). He is one of the "Papous" of the Radio France Culture show "Des Papus dans la tête", conceived by Bertrand Jérôme and presented by Françoise Treussard.
He calls himself a "calembourgeois painter". His paintings are presented all over the world.
