Kerascoët

Kerascoët is the artist name of the French duo formed by Marie Pommepuy (born in 1978 in Brest) and Sébastien Cosset (born in 1975 in Paris). They met during their studies at the École Olivier-de-Serres in Paris and developed a four-handed graphic work starting in 2000.

Illustrators and comic book authors, they also work in the fields of press, advertising, fashion, and animation. Their drawing, recognizable by its elegance, finesse, and apparent softness, often accompanies darker, poetic, or quirky narratives.

They became particularly known with Miss Pas Touche, created with Hubert, then with Jolies Ténèbres, with Fabien Vehlmann, who was awarded the Diagonale prize in 2009. They also signed the trilogy Beauté, which became one of their emblematic works.

Kerascoët's work extends today far beyond comic books, with numerous illustrations, editions, and original works, in France and internationally. Their unique universe mixes graphic elegance, imagination, poetry, and strangeness.
