Biography

Carole Chaix has lived and worked in Paris for 30 years. She has published more than twenty albums for young people (Thierry Magnier, A pas de loups, Rue du Monde…) and has become a field illustrator. Stealing moments from everyday life, she collects everyday life in her black notebooks. Her illustrations are "the escape" according to, it's a bit reality but not really, she mixes tools and techniques, loves lines that overlap like subjects, people, she smiles at authors and artists. stories they invent together.

Give it a blank page, a place, a story, it will dress them up with its interior to then share it with the general public (exhibition, drawn reading, participatory fresco…).
