Biography
Olivier Kröning and Dennis Ore are a duo of photographers, from Stuttgart Germany.
Their common project draws inspiration from crowded beaches in Majorca, especially the "El Arenal" beach. The German tourists love this beach, it's a symbol of mass tourism in Spain. It is surrounded by 50000 hotel beds, 50 discos and giant beach bars. To be able to imagine this immense place, the duo decided to give priority to the aerial view, as it is able to portray the atmosphere of the place, perfectly. Their work is aesthetically pleasing, colorful and almost graphic.
For these series of photos, the duo Olivier Kröning and Dennis Orel was awarded the Canon ProfiFoto Award in 2009.
