Biography
Born in 1988, Moe Nakamura is a Japanese sculpture artist. She obtained her MFA in 2012 from Joshibi University of Art.
Nakamura's unconventional sculptures are carved out of camphor wood before being finished with oil paint. The resulting childlike creations are reminiscent of characters found in nursery rhymes or fairy tales.
In 2021, Nakamura held her first large-scale solo exhibition at the Pola Museum Annex, Tokyo.
