Biography
Yinka Adeyemi is a Yoruba artist. He was born in Iragbiji, Nigeria. Adeyemi began his career with the Oshogbo Arts Movement in Nigeria in the 1960s, a movement created for the defense of sacred lands. He studied and traveled with the Duro Ladipo Theater. He uses different supports such as batiks, canvas paintings or rice paper, and prints in monochrome and linoleum.
