Biography

Born to artist parents, Juliette Bafoil Susar spent her childhood between Istanbul and Paris. From an early age, she immersed herself in the light and creativity of these two cities. Juliette's life is punctuated by the workshop of her ceramist mother, she will give her a taste for gardens and nature. She plunges into the refinement of colors, fabrics, prints, the Orient. Juliette's love for nature goes back to childhood, to the unique moments spent with her engraver-sculptor father who worked on irises in the heavenly beauty of Giverny (a region near Paris). At 18 she returned to her native country to study graphic art in Paris. She began her career as an artistic director for 12 years with Parisian luxury agencies collaborating on prestigious projects. Since 2011, she has been based in Geneva. She continues to draw, paint with passion. The beauty of what nature gives us is beyond imagination. It is linked to the world of ideas. The flower, the nature hold an immense place in the joyful artistic universe of Juliette.
