Biography
Daisy Cook is a British visual artist, born in 1958 in England. Her work predominantly incorporates oil paints and collage to produce vast abstract depictions of landscapes, with a clear nod to traditional compositional style. Using photography as a reference in her work, the artist uses a characteristic layering technique with thin strokes of paint to imbue her work with a mystical and somewhat ethereal dimension.
Over the course of her career, the artist has featured her work in several international exhibitions, notably across Europe and the United States. To date, her work permanently features at the Bank of England in London.
