Presentation
Pamphyle was born in Lyon in 1946.
From a modest family, he was introduced to painting and modeling from the age of 9 by his older brother, a porcelain decorator.
At 14, after a short stint in drawing on silk, he did an apprenticeship in locksmithing and forging. At that time, in contact with metal, he began his first wire sculptures which he dressed in wet paper. At 18, without ever forgetting his passion, he began his initiation made of meetings, a world tour, a passage of life alone and isolated in a hut and lived a multitude of trades passing from seller to door to door to agricultural worker etc ...
In 1980, he ceased all activity to devote himself entirely to his work. He begins to live from his work after acquisitions made by foundations, collectors, communities (CES, schools, cities).
