

Biography
Nora Ampova (b. 1989) is a visual artist based in Sofia, Bulgaria. She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the National Academy of Art, Sofia (2014) and completed a postgraduate specialization in the UK in 2011.
Nora’s work explores the relationship between humans and nature, as well as themes of travel, self-sufficiency, loneliness, and isolation.
Primarily a painter, her artistic practice also extends to collage, drawing, sculpture, and digital projects.
Her creative process begins with personal experiences and emotions, often resulting in figurative compositions where the female figure, frequently a form of self-portrait, plays a central role.
