Laetitia Demortreux-Velez

Laetitia DEMORTREUX was born in 1976 in Paris.

Graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in 2001. The gaze evolves on the fields and architectures treated with breadth, subject to the rhythm of a warm palette in shades of Naples Yellow and Sienna Earth. At first glance, the forms seem to reach the simplicity of abstract art, but quickly the elements emerge and carry the spectator far from his vision on a human scale, in a true Flight. After having exhibited in Parisian Galleries and Salons (Salon ART CAPITAL, Salon de la Marine, SNBA, Salon des Indépendants), Laetitia exhibited in Italy (Milan, Siena). She currently presents her work in Australia via the OFFMARKET Gallery in Perth. Laetitia is a member of the Taylor Foundation.
