Description
This artwork offers a captivating aerial view of the Palace of Versailles, exalting its architectural splendor. The formal gardens unfold elegantly, revealing a symmetrical and orderly layout. The reflecting pools and immaculate paths highlight the grandeur and mastery of classical landscapers. The chosen perspective highlights the vast expanse of the estate, accentuating the geometric rigor and overall harmony. The warm tones of the palette add a touch of sophistication and a historical ambiance. The attention to detail, from the fountains to the flowerbeds, demonstrates remarkable precision. This majestic representation invites the viewer to contemplate the timeless beauty and artistic genius that characterize this symbol of French heritage. The painting succeeds in capturing the very essence of the place, combining visual perfection and historical fidelity.
Presentation
Laetitia DEMORTREUX was born in 1976 in Paris.
Graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in 2001. The gaze evolves on the fields and architectures treated with breadth, subject to the rhythm of a warm palette in shades of Naples Yellow and Sienna Earth. At first glance, the forms seem to reach the simplicity of abstract art, but quickly the elements emerge and carry the spectator far from his vision on a human scale, in a true Flight. After having exhibited in Parisian Galleries and Salons (Salon ART CAPITAL, Salon de la Marine, SNBA, Salon des Indépendants), Laetitia exhibited in Italy (Milan, Siena). She currently presents her work in Australia via the OFFMARKET Gallery in Perth. Laetitia is a member of the Taylor Foundation.
