Music Inspired Abstract Art by Christine Zmuda

Biography

I am an abstract expressionist and intuitive painter. Largely self-taught, I utilize music as a medium in my work along with traditional art elements like acrylic paint, charcoal, pastels. and oil sticks.

My creative process starts first and foremost with the music which informs my palette selection. After this foundation is established, my work is then created through intuitive responses to a soul deep connection to music, a love of life, and all its adventures. The process is highly spontaneous.

What emerges on the canvas is highly emotional and personal, often energetic and universally uplifting. I believe this is a direct and natural extension of my state of being as I am painting. My optimism and love of life is active and present on my completed work.

Collectors connect with that feeling and share that my paintings are joyful and upbeat.
