Description
Collaboration with Céline Gélis. This captivating work juxtaposes classical architecture and playful modernity. In the foreground, a bright pink figure, the Pink Panther, carries a stylized handbag and observes an ancient building. This richly detailed building features Gothic architecture with majestic columns and imposing statues. The bold use of pink contrasts with the structure's black and white lines, creating a striking visual tension. In the background, bursts of pink explode, adding a dynamic, almost cosmic dimension. The architectural influences recall European cathedrals, infused with a contemporary touch through colorful artistic interventions. The movement of passersby at the base of the composition reinforces the scene's animation. The work is distinguished by its innovative fusion of historical and pop elements, challenging the viewer to reconsider the interaction between tradition and modernity.
Presentation
Currently, my work is articulated between these pop diversions, canvases where the pop spirit is more present, and more direct drawings with Posca. I like my works to reflect a certain vitality, which is why you will often find bright colors, sometimes even fluorescent, and plays of light that bring dynamism. My goal is for color and energy to be felt in each piece.
