Marco perfectly illustrates the characteristics of his pictorial language, where chromatic intensity and gestural spontaneity serve as a common thread. The choice of acrylic on paper, a light and reactive support, favors the emergence of a free, almost immediate gesture, which corresponds to his way of approaching painting as a direct projection of energy and emotion.
Here we find the constants of his style: bright, contrasting colors, applied in flat tints or dynamic drips, a supple line that encircles the forms while preserving their freedom, and a marked taste for visual narration, which never reads as a simple story but as a sensory experience. This approach joins a Mediterranean tradition of expressive color, inherited as much from Fauvism as from popular art, where light becomes a material in its own right.
The relevance of this work lies in its ability to translate a dreamlike universe while anchoring itself in a concrete experience: underwater immersion, reinvented by the artist's palette, becomes a poetic space where humans and the marine world meet.

Presentation
Marco was born in Munich in 1973. After studying art in Cardiff and Falmouth (Great Britain), he received a UNESCO scholarship for a residency at the Paa Ya Paa art center in Nairobi ( Kenya). The resulting work will be exhibited at the UN headquarters in Gigiri.
During his travels around the world, he tries various artistic practices, such as metal sculpture, the creation of installations and ornamental photography. At the pace of his travels, Marco's work is also imbued with his various human and artistic encounters, thus becoming the original product of an intercultural fusion.
Even beyond the singularity of his career, it is the playful musicality that emanates from Marco's paintings that makes each of his works a real concentrate of happiness and expressionist inventiveness. The artist invites us through each of his compositions to enter weightlessness into a positive universe. An ode to Carpe-Diem!
Now based in the south of France, Marco exhibits permanently, in France, at the Galerie Plurielle in Sète (34).
