Biography
Nadine de Lespinats is a self-taught French painter, bronze medalist from the Academy of Arts Sciences Letters and listed in Akoun.
Her work lies at the intersection of abstraction, symbolism, and semi-figuration. Using oil paints, which she prefers to apply with a palette knife, she creates works of dense and vibrant texture, where color acts as a vehicle for emotion and inner resonance.
With the series Éternelles , the artist takes a new step in her artistic exploration. She incorporates framing devices into the very heart of the work and enriches its surfaces with the use of gold leaf, lace, and pearls. These precious elements establish a subtle dialogue between memory, matter, and light, while preserving the gestural force that constitutes the signature of her pictorial language.
