Don Mateo, born in the early 80s, he grew up with hip hop culture and became very passionate, as a teenager for French rap. His first experience with graffiti?... an adventure that he will remember: a nice golden tag on a car, just like that to have fun during an evening, from the height of his 12 years... fun short because after s To be caught, he will later discover that she belonged to a member of the family of her head teacher. Adrenaline rush guaranteed! ... some beginnings are more difficult than others...
In 2010 is the installation in Lyon, new playground with multiple possibilities... very quickly he puts on the walls of the city of his famous portraits: anonymous people who challenge by the emotion and the energy they breathe. Simple tributes to those he admires, humorous and artistic noses that now immediately identify his style, his graphic paw! His leitmotiv, his ambition, what drives him daily: "Act as an urban anti-depressant"!
The street becomes and remains more than ever his studio and his place of expression. A subtle combination of freedom of expression and creative enthusiasm.
