Description
I'd like to suggest a work by Cope 2 aka Fernando Carlo from 2016.
Made from an original metal plate from the Paris metro, framed on a matte black painted wooden frame.
A very nice effect with subway tiles. For an urban decor.
Technique: Posca, Collage, Parisian Metro tiles.
Framed format 100 * 40 cm
Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Presentation
Cope2 is an iconic graffiti artist from the Bronx, New York. Active since 1978, he is recognized as one of the pioneers of New York graffiti and a key figure in the international street art scene. His raw, colorful, and instinctive style defined the 1980s and 1990s, a period during which he gained notoriety by covering subway trains, walls, and urban spaces with his iconic lettering.
A representative of authentic urban art, Cope2 has successfully extended his work beyond the streets. His creations are now featured in numerous contemporary art galleries around the world, while retaining the energy and visual identity of the original graffiti . He is considered one of the ambassadors of New York graffiti, contributing significantly to its recognition as an art form in its own right.
An active member of the legendary crews KD (Kings Destroy) and TNB (The Nation's Best), Cope2 continues to influence new generations of urban artists. Thanks to his longevity, authenticity, and international presence, he remains a major reference in the world of street art and contemporary graffiti.
