Become immortal, and then die. Parvulesco, in Breathless by JL Godard
Jérémie d'Angelo is a self-taught French artist born in 1981. In his workshop in Dordogne he creates with a mixed technique: acrylic and charcoal on linen, on paper, collages, Indian ink, gold leaf etc. He particularly likes black and white. After the international success of his Présence series, his series entitled "Sweet Dreams" was born in 2020, a variation of an imaginary profile, it becomes for the artist a source of inspiration around humanism and universalism which are the recurring themes of his creations.
Jérémie d'Angelo has notably collaborated with the Vieceli gallery in Cannes, the 172 gallery in Bordeaux, the Meka Nova gallery in Cannes, the 55 gallery in Tel Aviv, the Artillayre gallery and the Le Fil Rouge gallery in Paris.
The publisher Image Republic sells reproductions of its Présence series (portraits of celebrities and characters in black and white and without faces) throughout the world.
At night, Jérémie d'Angelo creates multiple collages in the streets of the cities and neighborhoods he frequents. The Butte aux Cailles and the Butte Montmartre in Paris are his favorite playgrounds for Street Art.
