Born in 1959, Patrick Blin is a French photographer.

Photography became part of his life at an early age, he combined this hobby with his passion for ornithology. At the age of 16, he took his first pictures of small birds. However a year later, he entered the world of cinema and began working for big companies such as Paramount, Universal Studios and Dreamworks, therefore drifting away little by little from his passion for photography.
It was until 2008 that Patrick Blin decided to finally abandon the world of cinema and to devote entirely to photography.

He incorporates, as a photographer, Nicolas Vanier production team for his movie "Wolf" which he filmed in Yakutia, East Siberia. His photographs were then published in different French and International journals. He published his first book called "Sur la terre des Loups " in 2012 and his second one " La Vie en Rose", two years later, in collaboration with Marie Blin.
Always passionate by the animal world, he decided to focus on Scottish sheep for his third book.
