Caroline Vis

France Born in: 1965 Emergent Artist

Caroline is an autodidact painter from the Netherlands. Without a technical formation or theoretical influence, she lets herself be guided by her passion for colors, movement, and some geometrical landmarks.

Start to offer her Art to the collectors at the early beginning of 2015, she has created many canvases looking for a technique that would best represent her. She met many artists and masters and followed their advices to little by little develop her own technique.

According to her, art is more than painting, a sculpture or an opera. Art will make her feel calm and serene. It gives her the sensation of living. Each touch she will bring to her canvas is unique; she mixes the main colors, knowing that something special is going on. Each canvas represents an emotion. She uses different compositions, colors and shapes, trying to capture the numerous ideas that appear in her environment and her head. The question is not about what to paint but how to paint.

Appreciating different styles: abstract, contemporary, abstract expressionism arts, she is mainly influenced by Jackson Pollock's artwork.

Always looking for new styles and techniques, she more and more improves her art, but keeps her will to present visual creations of her emotions.

She has exhibited across Europe and in the USA, including at the VT wonen&design beurs at the RAI Amsterdam, Gallery 4theBenefit in the Netherlands and the Bno Auction in Florida
