  • About the artwork

Zupca Malka Sacred Temples / 2010 -2016 - Zupca Malka: Quechua term meaning sacred temples in Latin America. Rescuing trough my Art Work, with Aerial perspective, our legacy and cultural heritage. full of history

The Inca Empire also known as the Incan Empire, was the largest empire in pre-Columbian America.
From 1438 to 1533, the Incas used methods including conquest and peaceful assimilation, to incorporate a large portion of western South America, centered on the Andean mountain ranges. At its largest, the empire joined Peru, large parts of modern Ecuador, western and south central Bolivia, northwest Argentina, north and central Chile and a small part of southern Colombia into a state comparable to the historical empires of Eurasia. Its official language was Quechua.

Virginia (Luna Rosa) Hernandez

Virginia (Luna Rosa) Hernandez

Born in: 1967

Virginia (Luna Rosa) Hernandez is a Colombian artist born in 1967. She discovered contemporary art in Paris in 2002 and discovered through her studies and her artistic researches that it was abstract expressionism that suited her best to express her emotions. Fascinated by two major artists, Kasimir Malevitch, developer of the Suprematism movement and Nicolas de Stael, master of space, matter and color, she creates squares with a knife trying to express this way, the sensation of the passage of time. After living in Provence for some time, she started to promote in 2008 Latin-America artists through an non-profit organization called COLOMBIArtistica. She then opened a gallery in Belgium to develop more international projects during her journey through the US.
