Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle, pintor autodidacta que expuso en el Centro Pompidou en 2025, expresa la tensión entre cuerpo y alma en una obra libre, instintiva y carnal.
Biografía
Autodidacta, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle siempre ha tenido una relación emocional con su práctica artística: el sentimiento es su territorio favorito de exploración. Desde el principio, va hacia donde le lleva su instinto. Prefiere fotografiar a su modelo desde distintos ángulos para elegir lo que le interesa de una pose, en lugar de retratar su verdad primaria.
Una obsesión, las manos. Posesivos, frágiles o poderosos, sensuales o anónimos, aparecen como espectros para captar la atención y dar la carga emocional esencial de la composición.
A través de su línea errática, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle rastrea las emociones para exponerlas. Explora lo sensible, lo efímero, lo frágil. Por acumulación o por borrado, la mirada se pierde y los individuos desaparecen: abrazos infinitos y perpetuos, al olvidarse de uno mismo o del otro, los rasgos y las personalidades se desvanecen.
Para expresar esta investigación, el dibujo es el medio obvio. Luego, la pintura. Sin embargo, incluso a través de la pintura, el dibujo resurge como una marca indeleble. La saturación, la respiración, sus arrepentimientos son evidentes: tacha, borra y subraya su propósito. Prohibiéndose el uso de la goma de borrar, su técnica es a imagen y semejanza de su tema: encarnado, crudo y espontáneo.
