Fotógrafos famosos
Desde que las estrellas han captado la atención de las masas, ha habido quienes se han esforzado por captar su imagen. El arte consiste en captar a la figura en su momento más cercano o en el más intocable, en cualquier caso destinado a ser visto por muchos. Pero también hay fotógrafos de famosos que pasan mucho tiempo con esos iconos para conservar sesiones fotográficas privadas que pasan a formar parte de un canon de trabajo no descubierto. La fotógrafa de famosos Annie Leibovitz reveló no sólo una conexión entre el fotógrafo y el sujeto, sino también una expresión de la emoción lograda a través del arte para ser expuesta a los espectadores. En su obra, el encuadre es generalmente clásico y el escenario a menudo teatral, con las posturas de los cuerpos comparadas con las composiciones barrocas. Entre las colecciones propias de Artsper (y para cimentar aún más el arte que encierra la fotografía de famosos) se encuentran obras de Kevin Westenberg y Bert Stern, fotógrafo de moda y especialista en retratos de estrellas, mundialmente conocido por The Last Sitting, una colección de 2.500 fotografías tomadas para Vogue de Marilyn Monroe durante tres días, seis semanas antes de su muerte en 1962.
