Entrapped 4 is a paper porcelain sculpture by Israeli artist Simcha Even-Chen.
Simcha Even-Chen uses a variety of geometric patterns, colours, and shapes to create sculptures that are harmonious. She uses a scientific method based on her expertise as a biologist to direct her creative process. The sculptor prefers abstract art because it challenges her intellect and mind. Abstraction turns the sculptures into autonomous objects that lack any narrative and are open to each viewer's interpretation through the lens of their imagination.

Presentation
Simcha Even-Chen is a contemporary sculptor living and working in Israel.
The artist works with paper porcelain, a porcelain with an added 0.5% paper fiber, giving her sculptures a dynamic and organic form.
During the final firing, the material sags and deforms, allowing the artist to discover the random results of her sculptures. The fluidity of the forms and their vivid colors give the sculptures a sensation of lightness and the illusion of a soft material.
