Description
This captivating gilded metal sculpture is distinguished by its sinuous and elegant ribbons, floating gracefully in space. Each finely polished metal band captures and reflects the light brilliantly, creating a play of shadows and reflections that animates the work. The finesse of the metal subtly contrasts with the robustness of its structure, evoking both lightness and solidity. The slender support accentuates the impression of movement and creates an organic and airy form, seeming to defy gravity. This dynamic ensemble invites contemplation and personal interpretation, stimulating the viewer's imagination. The apparent simplicity of the work conceals a technical complexity, testifying to the artist's talent and creativity. With its timeless grace and assertive modernity, this sculpture finds its place in both contemporary and classic spaces.
Presentation
Jean-Paul Boyer is a French artist born in 1942.
After several years inspired by classical scultpture and countless visits to the museum, Jean-Paul Boyer started creating his own pieces composed with thin, superimposed and adjustable elements in 1989 in this way he made his own style.Working with glass, wood, marble, iron, bronze and stone, his sculptures always revolve around an axis.
Women are his favorite subject, Jean-Paul Boyer's sculptures invite those who wish to modify them, to create new shapes by removing or rotating parts. Jean-Paul Boyer creates modular sculptures.
His pieces have been exhibited in France and abroad in Germany, Spain, Belgium, China, Great Britain, India and Turkey.
