Un artiste insolite, drôle et poétique
Biographie
Né en 1952, FranSoisT peint et photographie. François Thiéry-Mourelet (pour l'état civil) signe ses toiles « Fransoist » ou « FsT ». Ses œuvres associent femmes élégantes, nature puissante, rêves (ou cauchemars), chats, chevaux et gentils monstres. Si la technique est classique (utilisation du sfumato, du verdaccio et du glacis), les compositions sont complexes. La touche, rapide et oblique, superpose les terres naturelles ou brûlées (ocres, verts, bruns, rouges…) et les bleus. Il a aussi une œuvre d'aquarelliste, d'illustrateur de livres pour la jeunesse et de photographe. Depuis 1984, il expose à Modène, Genève, Cleveland, Thonon-les-Bains, Paray-le-Monial, Cachan, Saint-Ouen, Arcueil, Barbizon, Paris…
