Biography

Amaury has always held brushes. Since his early childhood, he has taken art classes. As a teenager, he attended the fine arts school of Versailles assiduously and for a long time. He was also carried away by the welcome academicism of his first art teacher, a naval painter, Hervé de Sainte-Foy, and then by the healthy folly of his second teacher, Bernard Pelloux, to whom he owes so much.

The collection

In Amaury's works, everything is abstraction and matter. Whether they are a passage of season, as one opens the doors of autumn, an island landscape of Saint Florent, Ibiza, or Ile Rousse, the paintings of the Artist invite us to travel.

Amaury transposes landscapes into forms and patchworks of colors. It is a question of seeing beyond, of letting oneself be carried by the emotion of these paintings on jute canvas.

The follow 13 has selected 13 works of the artist with bright and shimmering colors for a little more summer.

Technique.

Burlap and acrylic.
