Sreya Gupta

Sreya Gupta is an Indian contemporary artist and professional jewelry designer, born in 1992 in Silchar, Assam, India. Currently based in Kolkata, she is recognized for her vibrant paintings that celebrate the beauty of nature, particularly the avian world, through symbolic floral compositions and harmonious color palettes.

Her artistic style is characterized by a vibrant color palette, meticulous attention to detail, and lush botanical backgrounds. Each work is an ode to nature, highlighting rare and exotic bird species, often accompanied by verdant foliage and vibrant flowers. Her favorite subjects include landscapes, birds, and butterflies, which she depicts with remarkable precision and sensitivity.

Sreya has extensive artistic training, earning a degree in Visual Arts (Painting, Art History, and Aesthetics) from the Bangiya Sangeet Parishad, affiliated with Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. She then earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) specializing in Painting from the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata, in 2015. In 2017, she completed a Master's degree in Gemology and Jewelry Design from the Sawansukha Institute of Gemology and Jewelry Design, Kolkata.
