Biography

Egle Karlonaite is a Lithuanian-based artist whose paintings have been exhibited in Switzerland, France, and the United States. Influenced by post-war European art styles that feature heavy brushstrokes, vibrant colors and a spontaneous artistic process, she describes her abstract art as "freedom in painting". The striking abstracts and still lifes of Karlonaite are serially created with acrylics on canvas.
