Philippe Borderieux

Philippe Borderieux is both a painter and a sculptor. He favors ceramic for this. He works in these two mediums, finds particular answers in the subjects he enchants: gardens, memorial landscapes of his childhood as well as lemons, epiphanic subjects from the Amalfi coast where the artist very often stays, Naples being part of its memory like its banks of the Loire. Philippe Borderieux is currently in contact with the Manufacture des Gobelins where two of his cartoons are woven as part of a restored furniture project. This link with know-how is very rich and important in the development of his work. Philippe Borderieux leads an international career, is present in contemporary art fairs and also responds to public commissions.
