"I pick up my brushes, my papers, my tools. I rediscover Nature, its beauty, its richness."

Biography

Born in 1965 in Seine et Marne, my childhood was shared between the mountains of Auvergne and the Paris region.

After an A3 baccalaureate and a year at the Roederer Academy, I joined the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in metal sculpture for 3 years.

Attracted by fabrics, patterns and textures, I obtained my Textile Designer diploma at the Letellier workshop in 1988. These years opened me to new horizons: I explored materials, I encountered tissue paper and from these experiences my "recipes" were born which I refine a little more each day.

In 1991, I passed on this expertise by teaching textile design in the Materials and Surfaces specialty. At the same time, I became co-founder of the brand "Minces Alors" specializing in plus-size clothing.

When my daughter was born in 1995, I was still teaching, but an opportunity opened the doors to live performance: I became a dresser/costume designer specializing in patinas and accessories for the Compagnie Deschamps and others. Ten years of touring and traveling followed. Then, for personal reasons, I gave up my intermittent status to that of a permanent one at the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris. First as assistant to the head of the Dressing/Costumes department, to end up as head of department in my turn. I stayed 23 years in this theater. Today, I have just left the Paris region to return to my roots, in Auvergne. Recently settled in St Jean des Ollières where I take up my brushes, my papers, my tools. I rediscover Nature, its beauty, its richness.
