Biography
Born in Santiago de Chile in 1966, Marko Echeverria develops a multiform work. Speaking through different media such as video, sound, painting or printmaking, his work refuses to be locked into a genre.
His work has been shown in many exhibitions, such as: "Paysages passagers" Ratp, Paris / "Nuit Blanche", Clichy / "La Rosa ..." Ensemble Ars Nova, Ile de France festival, Paris / "Emouvantes pyrotechnics" Univer Gallery, Colette Colla, Paris / Exhibition "Le Visage qui s'efface", Hôtel des Arts, Toulon.
Since 1997, Marko Echeverria is the president of the Oblik workshop, a cultural organization, located in Clichy la Garenne. Since September 2000, he has been a teacher in visual arts at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Clichy, at the Hauts-de-Seine prison, and for several municipalities as creator and manager of socio-cultural projects.
