Âme Sauvage
France • 1986
Presentation
Âme Sauvage is a French painter born in 1986. Self-taught, the artist discovered painting at the age of 20. After several exhibitions of her work, which saw much success at the time, she resigned from her job in 2012 in order to fully devote herself to abstract painting. Her works can be found in many private collections in France and abroad (Switzerland, United States, Belgium...).
The artist works in an abstract manner, with very spontaneous gestures, which is her way of expressing her emotion on canvas.
Her greatest inspiration is to dream, escape, fly away, travel and unveil the best hidden things in life. As a chemist, she likes to experiment with colour, always seeking to bring her canvases to life. A great adventurer too, her paintings take you on a journey, though she knows neither the destination nor the duration!
First and foremost a colourist, the stroke and artistic personality of Âme Sauvage are both well asserted. Humble and passionate, the spectator immediately feels an immense, palpable energy upon their first glance of her work.
