Biography

Philippe Robineau is a self-taught artist.

It uses a variety of techniques, such as charcoal and blood or oil and acrylic paint.

Here is a quote from Philippe Robineau who explains exactly how he works on the theme of the portrait:

It is the people who attract me, the strangers in the crowd, who question the identity. You know, the crowd in which you think you see a friend, an acquaintance.

They are the ones I paint, anonymous faces that gradually become familiar. These are the extras of our film and it's also a bit of us."

The artist exhibited at the Galerie Libre Est L'Art in January 2019.
