Luis Miguel Aparisi

Artist Statement:

I am a Spanish painter with great experience and preparation. I was born in Valencia into a middle-class family, my father was a professional soldier and my mother dedicated her life to domestic work and the education of her three sons. I studied primary and secondary education in Valencia and Alicante, and higher university studies in Madrid and Alicante, School of Architecture and Construction Engineering, due to my great love for painting I also studied at the Circulo de Bellas Artes and the Superior School of Arts. and Artistic Crafts of Madrid.
I started with totally academic artistic works, then a figurative painting and latterly an abstract and conceptual painting.
I have traveled to several countries around the world like France, United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, Switzerland, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Tunisia, Malta, Germany and the United States -United.
My latest works attempt to make the viewer feel my emotions, which I express with a very varied and luminous color palette.

Artistic influences:

Currently my works can be included in abstract expressionism and I feel influenced in one way or another by Gerhard Richter or Jackson Pollock.
