Joaquín Jara is a Spanish artist born in 1977 in Sabadell.
In 1997 he started his art studies at La Llotja, the Applied Arts school of Barcelona, and at the Camberwell School of Arts and Fine Arts in London. He dropped out to focus exclusively on painting, particularly on two main themes: the portrait and the depiction of the body in baroque sacred art. These became the foundation of his artistic production.
