Description
New4 The painting titled "Choice" features a female figure seated on a stool, occupying the central foreground of the canvas. She assumes a relaxed yet assertive posture, with one arm draped over the back of the stool and the other resting on its seat, denoting a casual confidence. She is attired in a beige oversized blazer with bold, abstract black lines that create the illusion of sharp shadows, giving the garment a three-dimensional and structured form. Beneath the blazer, a hint of a black garment can be seen. The blazer's oversized lapels and the subtle red line on the left side contribute to its geometric and angular appearance. Her facial expression is contemplative, with her gaze directed slightly upwards and to the side, as if in deep thought or consideration. Her features are rendered with defined brushstrokes, and her dark hair is styled in a loose, effortless manner that frames her face. A light grey hat sits atop her head, with a thin, darker band that matches her hair. Presentation
Maksym Newskulenko was born on February 20, 1993 in the city of Romny, Sumy region In 2014, he graduated from KhNUVS (SF) (law), but decided to devote his life to creativity, starting with tattoos, which he does to this day. He began studying drawing and painting with private lessons. Later, he entered a university to obtain an academic education. In 2023, he graduated from the SDPU named after Makarenko majoring in "Fine art, decorative art, restoration". Since 2021, participant of All-Ukrainian and international exhibitions. The author's works are in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Great Britain, and the United States. Exhibitions 2021 - Exhibition for the Artist's Day in the exhibition hall of the Sumy Union of Artists 2023 - Exhibition and sale at the "Nasha M" gallery, Sumy, Manufaktura shopping center 2023 - International Art Contests White Winter 2023 - personal exhibition "Through the prism of feelings" in Sumy Since 2017, he has been engaged in artistic tattooing Since 2022, he has his own creative studio for children and adults Among the works, mostly female portraits are presented, in which a realistic image of the human body and geometric elements in the style of pop art are skillfully combined. The heroines of the works are calm, majestic, as if goddesses in modern clothes are preoccupied with the affairs of the present and are full of thoughts about the eternal. Each of them has its own story and is imbued with the author's personal love for the female image. The artist conveys the feeling of admiration, respect and exaltation of women as the source of life.
