Fascinated by Photography since always, he reconstructs in his artistic work a universe of his own.
It was during trips to the United States, Norway, Iceland and Slovenia that he became aware of his deep attraction for a strong, sometimes hostile nature. Fascinated by these Nordic and dark countries, their history, their ancient stories and their legends, he immortalizes his deep feelings in his works.
He thus creates landscapes and portraits imbued with a certain darkness… “In the darkness, I see the light” he expresses himself. “From the darkness of the soul can emerge a clarity that overwhelms me. Light that is too bright often dazzles, darkness magnifies it. Also, he likes to capture these contrasts.
Cédric Brion creates works that challenge in which everyone can project themselves and recognize a part of themselves.
