Marie Bovo

Marie Bovo was born in 1967 in Alicante, Spain. She lives and works in Marseille. Inspired by her literary and poetic references, she uses video and photography to highlight the dreamlike nature of certain landscapes. She is particularly recognized for her series of photographs of nocturnal landscapes with a completely mysterious effect provided by the long exposures that she practices. Many of his works play with time, thus offering the viewer a different vision of reality. However, his photos raise very real questions linked to geopolitics and society, evoking the universal cycle of life. She has exhibited in internationally recognized galleries but also at the European House of Photography and at the Milan Triennale.
