Biography

Born in 1959, Thierry Chassagnac is a multidisciplinary French artist.

He studied geology and began his career in this sector before turning towards art. He makes sculptures, installations and videos.

Thierry Chassagnac's aim is to create a new view on quantum mechanics and a new way to analyze the original subject. The spectator's analysis is very important to the artist. He tries to complete our fragmented vision through offering sculptures in wires.

Close to the trompe-l'oeil style, Thierry Chassagnac creates works which bewilders the spectator as they transform while in movement or vice-versa.
Due to his research work, he often collaborates with research laboratories and high-tech industries, especially MlP2 INSA Lyon.

His works are exhibited in Geneva, Paris, Saint-Tropez and Lyon.
